Marcio Simas, a 5th degree Black Belt, has close to
thirty years experience training, competing and teaching Brazilian
Jiu-jitsu. Growing up in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the birthplace of
Brazilian
Jiu-jitsu, Marcio trained with legendary jiu-jitsu fighters like Rolls,
Rickson and Carlos Gracie, Jr. Over the years, Marcio has produced
Local, National and World champions in Sport BJJ, Submission Grappling
and Vale Tudo events.

Gustavo
'Gutty' Muggiati
Instructor
In 1997 Gutty moved to Curitiba, a city in the south
of Brazil, to open a new Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy affiliated to Gracie
Barra in Rio de Janeiro. The name of his new academy was Gracie Barra Curitiba,
making him the pioneer of Jiu-Jitsu in that city. Gutty has an impeccable
resume as a fighter where he has accumulated several national and international titles.
Todd
Broadway
MMA Instructor
Todd Broadway has been training BJJ with Marcio
Simas since 1996 and has trained extensively in western boxing,
shootfighting and muay thai. He has competed successfully in various
BJJ/submission grappling tournaments as well as MMA/Vale Tudo style
events.
Some
of his titles include: 2003 Dale Earnhardt Jr Grappling Classic
- Brown Belt Super Heavyweight Champion, 2001 NAGA U.S. Nationals
- Advanced Gi Champion, International Shootfighting Association
Heavyweight Champion and Hook n' Shoot Pancrase Heavyweight Champion.
Anthony
Tolone

Instructor
Anthony Tolone has been training BJJ under Marcio
Simas since 1997. During this time, he has made a name for himself
by traveling around the country and competing against some of the
top grapplers in the game today. At a height of 6'-3', Anthony has
a unique grappling style that has gained him many titles in BJJ and
submission grappling tournaments. He is known for his incredible guard
work and the ability to finish most of his fights by submission.
Some
of his titles include: multiple-time Florida State Champion, two-time
Georgia State Champion and NAGA U.S. National Champion.
Mike Gomez

Instructor
Mike Gomez has accumulated numerous BJJ and submission
grappling titles, including multiple Florida State Championships. Mike has developed
a reputation for being an extremely technical and intense competitor. Always looking for new challenges, Mike successfully started his fight career by tapping out his opponent in his MMA debut.
